Owl Monkeys are 27 to 48 cm. long and are the only nocturnal monkey known. The Night Monkey lives in Columbia and north-eastern Argentina to Ecuador and Panama. They eat fruits, nuts, leaves, sap, insects, and small vertebrates. They are considered Adults after three years. Adult Night Monkeys pair for life and they live in small family groups composesd of the adult pair plus up to three young. They use a range of hisses and squeaks to communicate during the night they also sometimes produce an owl-like hoot. They live to be 20 years old in captivity and 11 years old in the wild.

Adult squirrel monkeys are about 10 to 14 inches. Male squirrel monkeys are usually larger than females . They live in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, Paraguay, and Venezuela and a small population in southern Florida. They prefer rainforest, and can adapt to any kind of rainforest. they have been known to eat insects, spiders, bird eggs, flowers, buds, seeds, leaves, tree gum, sap, and nuts. Have You Ever Wanted A Spider Monkey?





Spider Monkeys are about 19 to 20 inches long and with the tail added in 27 to 30 inches long. They eat fruits, nuts, seeds, bird eggs, and insects. They are social and gather in groups of up to two- or three-dozen animals. They live in the tropical rain forests of Central and South America and can be as far North as Mexico.Usually females give birth to only 1 baby every 2 to 5 years. They depend  completely on their mothers for about 10 days.Their average life span in the wild is 27 years and 33 years in captivity. Some types of Spider Monkeys are endangered, but not all.
